The local historic scenes I have been doing for the past 30 years include the historic Dr. Pierce Barn, several other old barns in the area, the covered bridges, downtown historic buildings, historic homes, the old grist mill, old Masonic Hall, IOOF building, and historic scenes from old photos.

As a member of the local historic society, art guild, and tourism committee, I am also involved in promoting tours of our historic districts, buildings and downtown areas. Cottage Grove is known as the Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon as we have 6 covered bridges in our area. Our downtown is also designated a Historic District.
