Covered Bridges of Cottage Grove

Cottage Grove is known as the "Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon" as we have 6 covered bridges in our area. Our downtown is also designated a Historic District.

These paintings are available in the Products Directory as both 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 prints. Also as a greeting card set which contains all 6 Covered Bridges with envelopes.

Centennial Walking Bridge
Cottage Grove, OR

Built in 1987 as a pedistrian bridge spanning the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. Located downtown and is 84' long.

Chambers Railroad Bridge
Cottage Grove, OR

Built in 1925 to transport logs to the old Chambers Mill and spans the Coast Fork of the Willamette River just a few blocks from downtown. 78' in length. (About a mile from Sujo's Studio)

Currin Bridge
Cottage Grove, Oregon

Built in 1920. Spans the Row River on Garoutte Road/Row River Road about 4 miles from town. The only red bridge in the area and spans 105'.

Dorena Bridge
Cottage Grove, Oregon

Originally built in 1949 and updated in the 1980's. 105' long, spanning the Row River, about 10 miles from town on Row River Road.

Mosby Creek Bridge
Cottage Grove, OR

Built 1920 over Mosby Creek off on Garoutte Road. The only bridge in the area that is open to traffic. Length is 90'.

Stewart Bridge
Cottage Grove, Oregon

Built 1930. Spans Mosby Creek off Mosby Creek Road. 60' in length and is located about 5 miles from town.
